At this year’s Oscar ceremony, when the winner of the Best Director Award comes up to collect his statuete and reads that long tedious list of people without whom this wouldn’t have been possible…blah, blah ..etc., wouldn’t it be only fitting for him to give ‘mad props’ to the set designer?

The prolific and colourful Mr. Davezilla, whose blog can only be described as the Dim Sum of the internet, has kindly tagged me to partake in a little ricochet of prose titled: ‘Five Things You Don’t Know About Me.’ So here goes:

1. I couldn’t resist naming my first pet goldfish ‘Fang’.
2. I can speak Catalan. Well enough to piss off the Spanish and badly enough to piss off the Catalans, which I believe makes me a diplomat.
3. If stranded in the Andes with the Spice Girls, I would eat Ginger Spice first. (Ref: H. Hutton)
4. I was born in Southeast Asia although my parents are too afraid to tell me why.
5. For years, whenever I heard the song ‘Ivory Madonna’ by UB40, I used to think they were singing ‘I’m a Prima Donna’.
